2013 Users Conference Revisited

The third annual Zuercher Technologies Users Conference has come and gone. Months of planning and preparation went in to this year’s Users Conference. As I look back at the first Users Conference, it was quite humbling for me to see how much we have changed. It was amazing to see how not only Zuercher Suite changed, but how we changed as a company.
 

This year’s Users Conference provided something for everyone, with multiple sessions and opportunities to meet with Zuercher Technologies staff. In the past, all of the sessions were based on the building blocks of what you can do with the software. This year it felt different — in a good way. There was much more collaboration among users in the sessions and outside of them. Other users conferences can be heavy on fluff sessions and extraneous activities, but that was definitely not the case for ours. Everyone I talked to was able to speak to the value they received from both the sessions and discussions outside the sessions.
 

There wasn’t a moment that went by where I did not see sharing of information. Participants shared ways they configure and use the software with each other and with the Zuercher Technologies staff. I have already seen and heard about changes that are being made at agencies to streamline processes and improve communications. Seeing changes is an awesome thing and underscores how Zuercher Suite is able to help agencies better serve citizens.
 

We gathered lots of great ideas for future functionality. These are being reviewed and discussed and we have documented them in our feature request system. When you have a moment, please take the time to go through the support center and prioritize your requests that are in the list. If by some chance you do not see a request that you may have mentioned to someone during the conference, please send it to our support team and we will make sure it is added. We already have plans to implement MANY of these enhancements, and over the next year, you should expect to see many more improvements coming your way that are driven by you, the users.

Thank you for being willing spend your time and money to travel to Sioux Falls for the conference. Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback not only on what you like about the software, but on what we can do to make Zuercher Suite a more efficient and useful tool for you.
