My ledsSuite User Conference Experience

In September, I was asked to attend the 2012 ledsSuite User Conference. Since I am new to the software and public safety industries, I figured I’d better do a little research about what exactly was going to happen at this conference. I found out there are several types of conferences that a company will hold for their clients, but a user conference is held to educate users about product enhancements, show new and advanced strategies with the software and provide an opportunity to build relationships. So, in short, I was going to be learning more about ledsSuite right alongside our customers and finally get a chance to put a face to all those names.
The night before the conference, we held an open house at our new office and provided customers with tours, appetizers and drinks. The open house was a great way for me to meet quite a few customers before the nearly 100 attendees showed up. The next day started with a speech from Michael, the company President, highlighting how our employees and the services they provide are the backbone of our company. Without these crucial pieces, we would not be able to meet our clients’ needs and provide them with the exceptional software performance that we are known for. The speech made me excited to be a part of Zuercher Technologies and I think it reinforced our dedication to all of our customers.
After the speech, we had a choice of twelve different breakout sessions that ranged from ledsCAD Highlights to Building Reports with ledsReporting. I chose the "Advanced ledsCivil”, "Upcoming ledsJail Changes”, and "What’s New with ledsFinancial”. I found these sessions to be beneficial because my experience lacked in these parts of ledsSuite. Based on attendee feedback, users also agreed that the ledsCivil and ledsFinancial sessions were valuable. These sessions provided in-depth product training and descriptions of upcoming changes. One user stated, "I enjoyed the ledsFinancial session because it was awesome to see our requests responded to and know that our requests will affect the newer version of ledsSuite. It’s exciting to see how those changes will make our jobs even easier!” One user thought, "The most informative session was the ledsAdministration because I learned useful tools, helpful features and the instructor was easy to follow.” Many users enjoyed the High Tech Tools session as well because they learned about other available devices that can integrate with ledsSuite.
After all the helpful breakout sessions and opportunities to meet new people, share ideas about ledsSuite and wonderful food, the user conference came to an end with a demonstration of an upcoming feature that left users feeling enthusiastic about the software. The new ledsSuite feature, once again, proved the dynamic capabilities of the software, how Zuercher Technologies listens and responds to our customers and the powerful ability of ledsSuite to be configured to any agency’s needs.
