Civil Process Tracking
Zuercher Civil automates civil process services in a streamlined environment that enables users to serve civil papers, executions, distress warrants, and foreclosures in a timely, efficient manner.
The software's intuitive wizard guides users through the necessary steps to add new civil processes. It allows them to assign multiple paper types to a single civil record as well as add unlimited plaintiffs, defendants, received from and serve on names to any civil process. Known data populates automatically to speed data entry, and a cloning feature saves time when there are multiple similar civil processes to be served.
With Zuercher Civil, agencies can log multiple service attempts including outcome, comments, and mileage, while the system keeps a full audit trail. Set up as many custom sheriff’s returns as needed for each type of civil process and manner of service; the system’s business logic generates the appropriate return when someone successfully serves the civil process or marks it as un-servable. Sheriff’s return printouts and other automatically generated letters are professional-looking and ready to be mailed.
The main display’s list of open civil processes provides key details at a glance, such as balances and number of days remaining until expiration.
The software coordinates with Zuercher Financial, enabling agencies to create invoices, add fees, record payments, generate receipts and statements, and monitor balances, following the financial side of each civil process all the way through to the disbursement of funds. In order to save time and eliminate error, mileage charges, interest, and commissions are automatically calculated.
