Zuercher Technologies is now certified to provide access to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for South Carolina criminal justice agencies via the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division’s Criminal Justice Information Services (SLED CJIS).
The certification comes as part of Zuercher Technologies' commitment to offer its clients in South Carolina all the tools they need within the ledsSuite public safety software system. Users of ledsSuite now have the ability to run basic NCIC queries from within the software, such as driver’s license checks, boat registrations, and vehicle registrations. These queries are attached to related records, making referencing them easier. Users are not required to log in to a separate software application to find needed information.
For the past several years, the list of certified vendors has remained stagnant, limiting the software options agencies could purchase with integrated NCIC capabilities. Many of the vendors were also only certified to provide the queries on mobile applications, limiting their capabilities. Now, with ledsSuite, South Carolina agencies have an additional option for their public safety software needs. Zuercher Technologies is also the only vendor to pass the new certification requirements that meet the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) dual-authentication standards.
