Watford City/McKenzie County to Use Joint Zuercher System

Thursday, January 21, 2016.

Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office and Watford City Police Department of North Dakota have selected Zuercher Suite software.

The two agencies serve residents in a 2,861 square-mile area along the far western edge of North Dakota. They will operate a joint software system that will include software for dispatch, records management, civil process service, jail management, and more. The county is in the process of building a new 129-bed jail.

The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office and Watford City Police Department have rapidly expanded both the number of sworn officers and the services they provide over the past five years due to the boom in the local oil industry. Zuercher Suite, which uses a one application, one database system, is ideal for their employees at a variety of locations, allowing users to easily log into the same system and share information no matter where they are working.

"Zuercher Suite software will meet these agencies’ needs today and easily scale to grow along with them in the future,” said David Jones, Vice President of Sales for Zuercher Technologies. "We’re happy to be able to help the Watford City Police Department and McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office serve their citizens now and in the years to come.”
