Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce several new contracts with Department of Defense bases across the country and globe over the past six months as part of a series of projects with Spok.

Spok (previously Amcom), a critical communications company, partnered with Zuercher Technologies to offer a software solution that allows military bases to handle 911 calls made from the base as well as from off-base housing. Spok offers a JITC approved PC/PSAP 911 call-taking and dispatch solution. Integration with Zuercher Insight Mapping gives dispatchers a graphical view of those calls.

Insight Mapping places 911 calls immediately on a map.  The visual representation of this data gives users greater spatial awareness when responding to emergencies. The software also includes additional tools to determine responders, provide driving directions, and flag premise details.

During the past two quarters, Insight Mapping products have been purchased by 25 bases, including locations in Alabama, California, Iowa, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Kansas, North Dakota, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Puerto Rico, and Spain.
