The Traverse County Sheriff’s Office and Wheaton Police Department have selected ledsSuite by Zuercher Technologies as their new public safety software. The county will be using several of the system’s integrated products to help streamline their communication and data collection processes in their office, jail and 911 dispatch center.
Until this installation, the Traverse County Sheriff’s Office and Wheaton Police Department were using a standalone records management solution, which was no longer supported and was not functioning properly. The records management software will be replaced with ledsRecords and additional ledsSuite solutions will integrate their jail management, computer-aided dispatch, mobile, and civil process tracking.
All of the modules in ledsSuite are built as a single application with one database, providing a truly integrated solution. This was an important factor in the decision making process for both the County and City since many of the employees have multiple responsibilities and roles. The integrated products allow each agency to increase efficiency, prevent redundant data entry, and more effectively share data with other departments.
Another important factor was that ledsSuite is compliant with many required Minnesota-specific interfaces, such as the Minnesota Repository of Arrest Photos (MRAP), the Criminal Justice Reporting System (CJRS) for incident UCR reporting, and the Minnesota Statewide Supervisor System (S3) used in the jail.
"We are excited to be adding Traverse County to our quickly growing list of customers in the State of Minnesota,” stated Director of Business Development at Zuercher Technologies David Jones. "Our software helps all of our Minnesota clients improve the way they enter, manage, and maintain their information. Overall, it saves them time.”
