The Toombs County Sheriff’s Office of Georgia announced today that it has selected ledsSuite by Zuercher Technologies to upgrade its public safety software.
 

After years of insufficient support and upgrades from its current software vendor, the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office decided it was time to look for a new system.  With advances in technology and new standards such as NG-911 approaching, the agency needed a vendor and software solution that would be able to meet these changing demands.
 

Another challenge the agency had was that critical data was stored in disparate software systems.  To find this data, staff often had to log in to more than one system, and information needed from the computer-aided dispatch system would have to be manually re-entered in the records system.  This large amount of duplicate data entry needed to be eliminated.
 

The Toombs County Sheriff’s Office found that Zuercher Technologies and the ledsSuite public safety software system met all of the agency’s needs.  Because the software is built as one application with one database entirely from one vendor, staff will no longer have to log in to multiple systems in search of pertinent data.  The system also offers extensive configuration options, including a tool to allow the agency to build its own custom forms.  These features, paired with Zuercher Technologies’ comprehensive services and support, made the selection process an easy decision.
