Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that 38 agencies have purchased Insight Mapping or chosen to upgrade with additional Insight software or services over the past six months.

Insight Mapping is an Esri-based GIS software application designed specifically to meet the needs of public safety answering points and 911 centers. Over the past two quarters, Insight Mapping has shown strong growth, with an increasing number of agencies purchasing new systems or adding on to current systems, including:

St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office of Wisconsin will be installing Insight Mobile, a version of the dispatch map software that allows responders to see call information and routing details on a map in their vehicles. The agency will also use Insight AVL and AVL playback, which will allow for real-time tracking of responders with the ability to review details of a call for service.

Scott County Emergency Telephone System Board of Illinois selected Insight Dispatch for its 911 Dispatch Center. The ETSB will use Insight Dispatch to plot information about 911 callers and their locations on an interactive map. The map can be used to recommend units, suggest call routes and click between additional layers of GIS data, including roads, buildings, mile markers, or geographical features.
