Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the Meade County Sheriff’s Office, Sturgis Police Department, Summerset Police Department, and Faith Police Department of South Dakota will be sharing a Zuercher Suite software system.
The agencies are all located in Meade County, best known as the home of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The annual rally which brought 739,000 visitors to the Black Hills of South Dakota last year, generally results in an increased amount of arrests and accidents, placing a high workload on regional law enforcement agencies.
The Meade County Sheriff’s Office will be replacing software for dispatch, records management, jail management, and more with a full Zuercher Suite software system. This will allow all four agencies to easily share data with other sheriff’s offices and police departments in the region that use Zuercher software and use ConnectSD, a state-wide searchable crime database built by Zuercher Technologies.
"We’re happy to provide the Meade County Sheriff’s Office with software that will make many daily tasks more efficient, during the rally and year-round,” said David Jones, Vice President of Sales for Zuercher Technologies.
