Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office in Minnesota recently went live with Zuercher Suite.
The sheriff’s office upgraded its legacy records system with the more contemporary Zuercher Suite software which also allows for the hosting of a regional records sharing solution for other law enforcement agencies in the county. The Twin Cities agency, which serves an urban community with more than 500,000 residents, made the decision to replace an outdated records management and reporting software system at the beginning of 2014.
In the process of migrating to Zuercher Technologies software, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office offered several local police departments the option to participate in a county-wide regional RMS. The participating agencies include the Mounds View Police department, New Brighton Police Department, and Maplewood Police Department. Zuercher Suite, a contemporary software solution that uses one application, one database, and one user interface, is well-suited for data sharing, with a centralized, easy-to-search master records database.
In addition to sharing data, Ramsey County is using Zuercher Suite to streamline and automate many incident and case report creation and management processes. Sheriff’s office employees can now access warrant information, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension data, and records of many types from desktop and mobile computers.
