Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the Pennington County State’s Attorney Office of South Dakota will be the first agency to use a new software product designed for prosecutors.

The Pennington County State’s Attorney Office shares the same building with the Rapid City Police Department and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office. The three agencies were looking for ways to improve access to case information and make case flow more efficient.  Since both law enforcement agencies were using Zuercher Records, the state’s attorney office approached Zuercher Technologies to provide them with a case management system of their own which could integrate with the police department and sheriff’s office’s Zuercher Suite system.

Zuercher Prosecution is designed to facilitate better case information collection and sharing between law enforcement investigators and the officials who will be prosecuting the cases.  Since all  Zuercher Suite products are one application with one database, the law enforcement investigative cases in Zuercher Records are easily accessed with information flowing smoothly to Zuercher Prosecution and the prosecutor assigned to the case.

The seamless integration between the systems, and their unique workflow capabilities, will significantly reduce the time normally spent getting law enforcement case information, the back and forth of requesting and receiving data, as well as cutting down on printing and retyping. With Zuercher Custom Forms, which comes standard with the solution, prosecutors can also create customized forms for court, track and analyze statistics, and search for data without needing to maintain paper files.
