Zuercher Technologies proudly announces that the ledsSuite public safety software system went live today at the Yankton County Sheriff's Office and Yankton Police Department in Yankton, SD. The two agencies have implemented ledsSuite's Computer-Aided Dispatch, Jail, Civil, Financial, and Records components.
Yankton County Sheriff Dave Hunhoff is already noticing benefits the ledsSuite system will bring to his agency. "There will be an overall time savings, which will allow us to be more productive, accomplishing many of the same tasks we do now faster," said Hunhoff. "Some of these areas are in making media releases, NIBRS reporting, and a complete financial accounting and civil package which will tie our jail, civil and office financial functions together."
Sheriff Hunhoff anticipates that the Yankton County Sheriff's Office will take full advantage of ledsSuite's record attachment feature, which allows users to attach PDFs and scanned documents to forms throughout the system. "We plan to go paperless in some areas, particularly the jail inmate records, by scanning some records into the system for storage. LEDS has many other capabilities that we did not have in our old software system," said Hunhoff.
