Lawrenceville Police Department of Georgia Selects ledsSuite Software from Zuercher Technologies

After an exhaustive selection process, the Lawrenceville Police Department of Georgia has selected the ledsSuite public safety software solution to meet its current and future technology needs.  The installation includes ledsCAD Computer-Aided Dispatch, ledsMapping, ledsRecords Records Management, ledsMobile CAD, ledsMobile RMS and other ledsSuite products and services.

 

The Lawrenceville Police Department had been with the same software vendor for over 15 years.  In that time, there were many advances in public safety technology, as well as changes with the vendor and the department.  The system had become outdated and the department wanted to find a solution that would continue to grow with its needs in the future.

 

A set of criteria was developed prior to researching suitable vendors, including items such as the level of integration, ease of use, customer support and maintenance, as well as how well the selected vendor’s system would be able to adapt to the unforeseen future needs of the agency. Another major factor in the decision-making process was reference checks of the potential vendors’ existing client agencies.  The references were not only weighted by the administrator’s comments at each agency, but also by comments from the user level.

 

Based on these criteria, Zuercher Technologies was a stand-out.  The company’s support and maintenance services offered more for less, and the ledsSuite software offered more flexibility to the agency.  A final demonstration, giving an overview of the solution and its benefits, confirmed the agency’s determination that Zuercher Technologies was the vendor of choice.  A recommendation to the City Council was presented soon thereafter and approved.
