Zuercher Technologies proudly announces that it has been awarded a contract to provide an integrated public safety software system to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO). LPSO will implement Zuercher Technologies' ledsSuite software system, including Computer-Aided Dispatch, Mapping, Criminal Investigations, Crime Analysis, Jail, Civil, Financial, Records, Public Administration, and Mobile CAD and Records components.
Located just southwest of New Orleans, LPSO maintains 365 full and part time deputies, with 80 reserve deputies. The agency's operations include a 6-seat dispatch center, a 244-bed detention center, and a 198-bed work release center.
For years, LPSO has been using many separate software systems to support these facilities.
"Currently, we utilize various and disparate software systems to facilitate operations throughout the agency, which is cumbersome and not as efficient as I'd like," said Sheriff Craig Webre. "We were looking for a more robust, comprehensive software system to maximize the efficiency of our daily operations. We will surely benefit from the integration and automation the ledsSuite system offers."
Zuercher Technologies will work closely with LPSO and use the agency's input to expand the functionality of the ledsSuite system. This collaboration will achieve LPSO and Zuercher Technologies' shared goal of implementing a fully-integrated software system to meet all of the agency's needs.
