Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the Huntington Police Department of West Virginia has become the first agency in West Virginia to select Zuercher Suite.

The department serves the second largest city in the state, with a population of nearly 50,000. The Huntington Police Department has more than 100 sworn officers who often coordinate with other city, county and state agencies in the West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio tri-state area.

Zuercher Technologies will be replacing outdated systems for records management, mobile records, administration, and more. The police department selected Zuercher Suite, a contemporary software solution that uses one application, one database, and one user interface. The software’s ease of use and excellent record sharing capabilities make it ideal for multi-jurisdictional systems.

The agency will be using Zuercher Custom Forms and Zuercher Courts to automate the collection of information about citation fines and the submission of information to the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.  Zuercher Technologies is also the provider of Zuercher NIBRS Suite, the software used by the West Virginia State Police for its state UCR/IBR repository, ensuring an accurate and seamless process for reporting state crime statistics to the state.
