Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in New Hampshire will be upgrading its jail management software. The county’s new software system partners Zuercher Technologies software with inmate phone services from ICSolutions and Commissary services from Keefe Commissary Network. 

The Hillsborough County Department of Corrections is the state’s largest county correctional facility, with a maximum inmate population of 550 and more than 8,500 inmates processed annually. For the past year, the department has been reviewing JMS solutions from multiple vendors, including Zuercher Technologies. 

Zuercher Jail provides tracking tools for every part of the facility. The software is designed to increase efficiency from inmate booking and property management to in-depth financial management and inmate activity tracking.  

"We wanted to make sure our facility and staff had the best tools to operate efficiently, safely, and securely, carrying out our commitment to the community,” said Hillsborough County DOC Superintendent David Dionne. "When we were introduced to Zuercher Technology’s jail management software, we knew we had found a solution that would meet both our short and long-term needs. This was also the jail management software program correctional staff overwhelmingly chose to go with.”  

The Zuercher Suite system will include Jail Extend, an innovative new mobile platform that will allow correctional officers on the move to use tablets to log information and have instant access to alerts and other inmate records. Special hardware systems, including a mug shot camera system, inmate barcode wristbands, digital driver license readers and electronic signature pads are part of the seamless system, fully integrated into Zuercher’s one application, one shared database product.
