Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that Georgia Gwinnett College has selected Zuercher dispatch, records, and mobile software for its public safety department.

 

The college in Lawrenceville, Georgia, which has an enrollment of about 11,000 students, has a public safety department that includes dispatchers and campus police who handle calls for service and regularly patrol the campus on foot and vehicle. The Georgia Gwinnett College Office of Public Safety is active in crime prevention and investigation, and also coordinates with other law enforcement agencies in the county.   

 

Zuercher Technologies will be replacing the college’s current system for records management, computer aided dispatch and mobile CAD and RMS with Zuercher Suite, a fully integrated system that offers one application with one database and one standard user interface. The college will be part of a regional records system, joining Lawrenceville Police Department, which also uses Zuercher software, to share master name and vehicle information in real time. 

 

The college will be using Zuercher Mobile CAD and Mobile Records, to give officers instant access to records and dispatch information on the move. Georgia Gwinnett College will also use the system to automatically collect and report national Clery Act-mandated campus crime statistics.
