After an extensive interview process of several leading jail management software (JMS) providers, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s office has selected the Zuercher Technologies’ ledsJail software to upgrade the technology at their facility. Zuercher Technologies will also be providing interfaces to several local, state, and national databases and software applications.
The Sheriff’s Office needed a solution to meet their existing technology needs as well as keep pace with changes in the future. An emphasis on outstanding customer support, extensive software configurability, and ease of use were priorities that the Sheriff’s Office found with Zuercher Technologies and ledsJail.
"We had reached a point where we knew a new system was needed to better manage our jail” said Major Thomas Rodgers, Jail Commander at the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. "When we started the research process we knew from our previous experience what we wanted and what we required in a new system and the vendor providing it. We took our time evaluating our options and after a lengthy due-diligence process, Zuercher Technologies met the criteria that we had established.”

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is located in Punta Gorda, FL. The CCSO jail facility opened in 2001 and houses over 900 inmates. The facility is accredited through the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. The facility is recognized as meeting the Florida Jail Model Standards and applicable Florida Statutes.
