The Bennett County Sheriff’s Office and Martin Police Department of South Dakota have selected ledsSuite public safety software from Zuercher Technologies to modernize their records management system.
Both offices had been using generic in-house software tools for their incident and arrest data tracking and wanted to find a solution tailored specifically for their law enforcement needs. The ledsSuite software will allow them to track valuable data more efficiently as well as provide powerful reporting tools. The extensive list of services offered by Zuercher Technologies, such as automated system backups and ledsSuite server technology refreshes, were also important elements that the Sheriff’s Office and Police Department were searching for to protect their investment and ensure that their system was kept up-to-date.
Another key factor in their decision was that ledsSuite will give them the ability to participate in the state level NIBRS (National Incident Based Reporting System) program as well as the state’s data sharing initiative called ConnectSD. Zuercher Technologies is the vendor providing the state NIBRS repository and is the only vendor currently offering interfaces to ConnectSD at no charge.
