ledsSuite software is now being used to train students at Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, MN. The college offers a law enforcement training program that combines academic instruction with hands-on training, which helps them to pass the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Exams. The new software allows the students to practice many job related tasks they will be encountering once they begin their careers.
The field of law enforcement has become filled with many different technologies to aid officers, so using these technologies has become an important part of training. The ledsSuite system was chosen by Alexandria Technical College because of its flexible configurations and ability to interface with many other systems. The comprehensive "suite” of products includes Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), integrated mapping, jail management, financial records management, agency administration, records management, civil process tracking, and a custom report generator.
