Zuercher Technologies, provider of the ledsSuite public safety software system, has completed an office expansion project that nearly doubles the available space at its Sioux Falls, SD headquarters. In addition to accommodating an ever-growing software development staff, the larger office space has allowed the company to expand its software support and quality assurance departments.
Personnel began moving into the new space on March 6.
Zuercher Technologies has shown significant growth each year since its founding in 2003, and has continued to hire new employees even during the recent recession. "As our ledsSuite line of software has grown, so has our software development team,” said Michael Zuercher, president of Zuercher Technologies.
"As we continued to hire new developers, we were running out of offices to put them in. We’ve always believed that providing sufficient private office space for our developers is key to recruiting and retaining the best technical staff available, and it creates an environment where they can do great work.”
A growing development team has necessitated additional quality assurance staff, and the new office space has provided room for both.
Additionally, the new office space has enabled Zuercher Technologies to achieve its strategic goal of expanding its software support department, which is now housed in the new space. Additional software support representatives have been added in recent months to keep pace with the growing number of ledsSuite users.
"The expansion of our office space and our support department positions us nicely to continue providing thorough, responsive support to all of our ledsSuite customers,” said Zuercher.
