The Steele County Detention Center of Minnesota recently announced the selection of ledsJail jail management software from Zuercher Technologies to upgrade its current system.
The Steele County Detention Center had been using older software that was no longer being supported by its vendor. The lack of support for the product and lack of present-day JMS features was making it hard to use and causing inefficiencies.
The modern ledsJail solution allows users to save time by cutting back on redundant data entry and also ensures that tasks are completed because of the configurable workflow settings. The Steele County Detention Center will now be able to configure their booking and intake screens to include all agency forms, including custom forms they create using ledsSuite’s custom forms generator. This integrates even the most specific agency paper form into the ledsSuite system. In addition to custom forms, ledsReporting gives administrators the ability to create customized reports to harness data. These reports can be automated and sent regularly to key personnel via email.
ledsJail, a part of the ledsSuite public safety software system, was the ideal solution for many reasons, including the number of successful interfaces that have been established. With several Minnesota customers already operating on ledsSuite software, Zuercher Technologies has created, implemented, and now supports several of the interfaces the Steele County Detention Center desired, such as the Minnesota Repository of Arrest Photos (MRAP) interface and the Statewide Supervision System (S3) interface. ledsJail is also compliant with the Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) for the National Data Exchange (N-DEx), which allows the Steele County Detention Center to participate in the FBI’s N-DEx program and submit their incarceration and booking data. The detention center will also be able to pull information from Minnesota’s State Court software, further reducing redundant data entry and building upon ledsSuite’s integration with state level programs.
