Montana Board of Crime Control Awards Contract for NIBRS Repository to Zuercher Technologies

Friday, May 28, 2010.

Soon the Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC) will begin installation of a new Montana National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) Repository and an integrated Web-Based Data Entry Application. Zuercher Technologies, a leading supplier of public safety software, was awarded the contract to replace the MBCC’s outdated software with a new web-based repository and web application. MBCC was looking for a proven, web-based repository and statewide data entry application with a track record of very low NIBRS error rates.

The new software suite will be used to collect detailed crime information from approximately 100 law enforcement agencies in Montana, and will also supply monthly reports to the FBI. "We’re excited to earn the opportunity to provide a next generation, statewide NIBRS solution to the State of Montana. We look forward to working with MBCC and expect that Zuercher Technologies’ NIBRS solution will enable more accurate crime reporting and greater efficiencies statewide," said Michael Zuercher, President of Zuercher Technologies.

The system is scheduled to be installed in 2010.
