Zuercher Technologies, a leader in the public safety software industry, is pleased to announce that the Maplewood Police Department of Minnesota will be upgrading to a new fully-integrated software system for record management and agency administration, while also adding new mobile records capabilities.

The Maplewood Police Department serves a community of more than 38,000 people with more than 60 officers. The city is located along the north and east border of St. Paul. The agency selected the Zuercher Records, Mobile Records, eCitations, and Accident Reporting products to participate in a regional records management system hosted by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. 

A county-wide system will allow agencies to easily share information and access records for better coordination.  Zuercher Technologies products are one application with one database, utilizing a standard user interface.  This architecture and design are perfectly suited for providing superior functionality, data sharing, system management, and ease of use to the many agencies that will access the system. 

The department is also adding Zuercher eCitations, a software module that allows officers in the field to quickly create and print citations from their patrol cars, and Zuercher Accident Reporting, which allows officers to create and print accident reports in the field.  Zuercher’s mobile software platform will help reduce errors and save time with all information seamlessly integrated throughout the Zuercher Suite system and to Minnesota’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) eCharging system.
