It’s only been a few short months since the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office upgraded their jail management software to Zuercher Technologies’ ledsJail solution, but officials have already decided to expand their software installation to include ledsCivil and ledsFinancial.
ledsCivil, which works in conjunction with ledsFinancial, is a specialized civil process tracking system that allows agencies to manage multiple types of unique civil papers and calculate complex financial requirements and disbursements of money. Also included in the additional software is the warrants module, which streamlines the tracking of documents and fees, provides alerts, and tracks warrant service attempts. The user interface is easy to use, and simplifies every step of data entry and editing with wizards and hyperlinks throughout. Many types of reports can be generated, such as employee workload, served and not served papers, amounts owed, and much more.
"Until now, we’ve been entering our civil process and financial data into separate applications. It’s going to be a big improvement to have all that information in one system. It will be much easier to find the information we need, plus it will be a huge time savings,” stated Major Thomas Rodgers from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
