The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office and Brookings Police Department of South Dakota have contracted with Zuercher Technologies to purchase the ledsSuite public safety software solution.
After researching many options and viewing demonstrations from several regional vendors, the Zuercher Technologies’ ledsSuite solution was the clear choice. The company’s unparalleled knowledge of South Dakota-specific requirements and extensive system configuration options made it obvious to both agencies that ledsSuite would meet their agency-specific needs.
The ledsSuite software will also allow both agencies to participate in ConnectSD, the state-wide public safety data sharing initiative provided by the state, at no extra cost. Arrest and booking information from their ledsSuite software will be sent in N-DEx format to the ConnectSD portal, which both agencies can also use to reference data from across the state to aid in investigations.
"We researched a lot of companies and software solutions,” stated Brookings Chief of Police Jeff Miller. "No one could compete with Zuercher Technologies’ understanding of South Dakota public safety practices and their products definitely reflected that.”
"After 11 years of doing business in South Dakota, our products have become the most state-specific solution available in the market today” said David Jones, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Zuercher Technologies. "We are fortunate the Brookings Police Department and Sheriff’s Office have selected us as their vendor of choice.”
