Supported Hardware

Barcode Scanner - Quickly identify items, inmates, or locations using barcodes and scanners.  Barcodes can be used to identify issued property in Jail, inmates in Jail, equipment items in Administration, inventory items in Administration, property and evidence items and locations in Records.  Also available with a compatible printer as a package.

Camera Package - This integrated camera package allows users to focus, crop, and control the camera remotely.  Photos are automatically imported and available on the record.  Camera packages are available in Jail for inmate photos and digital line ups, Administration for personnel photos, and Records for photos of property and evidence.

Document Scanner - The document scanner enables users to scan paper documents and attach them to related records within the software.  Available in Administration, Civil, Financial, Jail, and Records.

Driver’s License Reader (2D or Magnetic Strip) - Scan state issued driver’s licenses to automatically populate a name card anywhere in the Zuercher Suite.  Different models available based on the use for the scanner (e.g. jail station or mobile unit).

Electronic Signature Pad - Capture electronic signatures on documents, letters, and forms.  Signed records can be viewed or printed for later reference.  Available in Civil, Financial, Jail, Records, and custom forms.

Fingerprint Scanner - This dual finger scanner uses a biometric signature to identify inmates in the Jail software.

GPS Receiver for Mobile Units - This plugin allows mobile units to push their Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) to Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD).

iPad Packages – Available for use with the Zuercher Tablet applications, iPad packages are available with various hardware items and cases based on the uses of the iPad (e.g. field based reporting from a mobile unit or property and evidence maintenance).

MICR Printer Package - Specially configured, this MICR printer allows users to print checks directly from the Financial software.

Printer Package for Mobile Units –Print eCitations while in a vehicle with one of these compact printer packages.

Wristband Printer & Laminator – Users can print inmate wristbands with barcodes and inmate information.  Wristbands are laminated so that they are durable and tamper resistant.

Support is included in the standard maintenance agreement.  Vendor hardware warranties apply.
